Staying at the country inn
We're glad you're staying.
Our rooms are in a house that grew out of one of the oldest coaching inns in the Sauerland. In the evening Stockum goes quiet, in the morning the light over the valley wakes you.
Our rooms
The names come from just outside the door: hills, tracks and fields around Stockum. All the rooms are furnished in country style, with furniture in fine woods and quiet colours.
Single room
The quiet room for anyone travelling alone: fine woods, warm earth tones and a newly renovated bathroom. If you are in the Sauerland on business, you will find some peace here in the evening, and the inn's dining room is one flight of stairs away.
Double room
Boxspring beds, warm earth tones and a few blue accents that make the room feel cool and fresh. A room for two, where in the evening you hear nothing but the house itself.
Double room with balcony
From the balcony you look across to the Rehberg. The first coffee outside in the morning, the door left open in the evening: that is what this room is made for. Inside, boxspring beds and furniture in fine woods.
Double room under the eaves
A room with a sloping ceiling, just as you expect in an old house: warm earth tones, plenty of wood and that particular feeling of having arrived at the top. The bathroom is newly renovated.
Apartment with two separate rooms
Two separate rooms give you space: sleep in one, sit and read in the other. For longer stays, for families and for anyone who does not want to go straight to bed after a day's walking.
In every room and in the restaurant, the password is ready for you.
If you are staying with us, the spa is included, with nothing extra to pay.
Your car charges right outside the hotel while you eat or sleep.
We are sorry, but we cannot take pets in the house. We hope you understand.
Bathrooms and details
Over the past few years we have refurbished the bathrooms one by one. What has remained is the quiet tone of the house: light surfaces, warm wood, nothing loud.
