Family & history
First came the post,
then came the guests.
More than 200 years ago, one of the oldest coaching inns in the Sauerland stood here. Today the third generation runs the house: Judith Kleiner is at the stove herself, and her father Egon pulls the pints.

A thoroughly warm and welcoming hotel.
This small, family-run hotel is looked after with an incredible eye for detail, and you feel welcome from the very first moment. The guest rooms are furnished in a modern style, freshly renovated, tasteful and extremely comfortable. The spa area is beautifully designed and invites you to relax, with an infrared cabin, a steam room and a classic sauna. The food is a pleasure too: the landlady is in the kitchen herself and conjures up excellent dishes with real passion and regional, seasonal inspiration. At the same time the landlord looks after reception in person and charmingly pours the freshly pulled beer in the evening. That personal touch makes the stay something special. Great praise as well for the whole service team, who are always friendly, attentive and warm. A place to feel at home, to enjoy good food and to switch off. We will very happily come back.

A beautiful inn.
A beautiful inn with rooms furnished in a modern style. The breakfast buffet is generous and there is something for every taste. The home-made jams in particular are a real hit. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. We had only booked one night. Far too short to explore the lovely surroundings. Worth a solid five stars, without a doubt.
