Conservatory & parlour
Pale wood, plenty of daylight and a view of the greenery outside. The right place for Sunday lunch and for long evenings for two.
Restaurant · Bierstube · Beer garden
This is what the Sauerland tastes like.
Whether it's a drink after work in the Bierstube, Sunday lunch in the restaurant or an afternoon on the Seebühne by the stream – there is always a place laid for you at the Kleiner family's table.
Our kitchen
Judith Kleiner stands at the stove herself, as her mother and grandmother did before her, while her father Egon pulls the pints. The family is the third generation to run the inn. What reaches the plate comes from close by wherever possible: from our own hunt and from farms in the neighbourhood.
Indoors & out
From the bright restaurant through the hearty Bierstube to the beer garden – take your pick, whatever suits you today.
Pale wood, plenty of daylight and a view of the greenery outside. The right place for Sunday lunch and for long evenings for two.
Freshly pulled beer, with home-made open sandwiches and other rustic bites. Here guests and people from Stockum sit at the same bar.
A cold pils after a walk or a bike ride, Sauerland air and the stream you can hear from here.
Our terrace by the stream
20 seats right beside the Stockum stream. The water runs past your table, and if you like, you can slip off your shoes and cool your feet. On warm evenings it is the best seat in the house – even though it is outdoors.
Menu
Our menu changes with the seasons – so we would rather print it fresh than let it go out of date here. The current version is ready as a PDF, and on the phone we are happy to tell you what is in the pot this week.
We are happy to cook for larger parties of 11 or more by arrangement – write to us, and we will put a menu together.
Opening hours
Because of our closing times we are unfortunately unable to offer half board on Tuesdays and Sundays. Separate hours apply on public holidays.
